Owned by Lisa Polvino, a Rochester native, Dolce was born out of a deep love for food and celebration. Growing up in a large family where food was always at the center of any special gathering, Lisa understands the importance of creating memorable moments with delicious treats. As the heart and soul behind Dolce, Lisa personally bakes each and every item, using only the finest ingredients to ensure that every bite is as extraordinary as the celebration it’s part of.

One of Lisa's favorite aspects of owning Dolce is crafting the ultimate wedding experience for couples. Over the years, she has had the honor of curating more than 1,200 unforgettable wedding dessert experiences throughout Rochester and the Finger Lakes region. Whether it's cupcakes, custom cakes, or Italian cookies, Lisa takes great joy in bringing each couple's unique sweet vision to life, creating desserts that are as stunning as they are delicious.

A mother of two grown children, Lisa attended both Geneseo and Nazareth. When she’s not in the kitchen, you can find her spending time with her husband, a music school teacher, who she met in elementary school. Together, they enjoy making memories with their family.
